Perth Domestic Parking
Submitted by Dreamweaver on Mon, 2007-12-10 08:24
Hi Gang
My wife and I are flying to Melbourne on 17/12/07 - returning 21/12/07 and was wondering what long term parking is like at the domestic airport?
There's been some bad press over the last few months with people having to park all over the place?
I had a look at the web site and it advises it's $17.00 per day and you donlt have to book, but when I rang, all I got was a great long winded speal, then disconnected (so much for contact us!).
Any accurate info would be great - or if someone lives near the airport, and we could safely store our car (willing to come to some $ arrangement if required - or a carton or whatever).
Cheers guys!
(All the appropriate storage places are fully booked)

Valet Parking is good
Colin,
A few years back when I was running the Northwest for ANZ I used the valet parking guys a lot. Not sure of the cost now but they clean your car and store it safely and have it waiting for you when you arrive back. Certainly worth it for piece of mind and convenience. You don't have to book from memory, just drive straight in to the terminal (follow the signs) toss them your keys at the desk, sign a few forms and away you go. It mau have changed in the past 5 years but back then it was worth the price for sure.
Good luck!
Cheers

Thanks for the name drop No Worries but the airport ti Innaloo is just a little too far to travel for a customer drop off/pick up. Particularly for Mr Molloy, the rich capitalist pig mongrel that he is....
Parking is easy at the airport Colin, just not cheap- follow the signs...

Just check carefully the costs
I recently parked my car at the international for 4 weeks and it only cost me about 80 dollars less than a one way cab fare. I think it's the same for the domestic about 16 dolars a day for the first two days then 2 dollars a day onwards......I think!
To all the virgins..............Thanks for nothing!

Parked there on Tues and it has been put up to $25 a day or part there of. Cost me $50 for just over a day.
The new long term parking was $40 for as long as you need last time I used it.
