Looks like

Wed, 2014-11-19 16:46

grating on the ramp maybe for swell when it comes in.  The actual jetty looks like its all grated, waves were breaking over it when I was taking photos.  Rocks either side of ramp, bit scary if a boat breaks lose.

Of course the seagulls have christianed the jetty hahahah

Hutch yes

the water around the ramp is still a bit milky from the limestone they have dumped, think winter storms they will have to dump more limestone, especially the right hand side of the ramp facing ocean.

Green Head ramp gets full of weed during the winter, knee deep in weed.  Hope this new ramp fairs better but think it will also be covered in weed.

Not to sure Rob H

from the grapevine Sea Rescue started the ball rolling, then Corow Council got involved, could be both parties applied for the Royalties to Region, will dig further and find out for you.

Maybe when the ramp is officialy opened it will have all the info on it. The local rag the school prints didn't have any info on when the ramp would be opened.

i thought the original plan had a breakwater ?

cant see it being any different to the sea rescue ramp, other than being 2 sided
