Its snapper weather when the boats wash up! Probably just my eyes but i cant see the bus stop on the YC jetty!
Just checked rotto wind and it went from a 40kt northerly straight to a 40kt southerly in an instant. Geez itd be messy out the back of rotto.

Every time there is a blow from the north
Every time we get a strong northerly wind we see boats (sorry yachts) blown ashore at Rockingham. It's the same old story moorings given way or mooring lines parted.
This is a sad thing to see good vessels washed ashore when some preventative maintenance could (possibly) have prevented this from happening.

Yep- agree. But I noticed on the second picture(White yacht) the mooring buoy is still attached to the yacht.
So I guess chain or a fitting has snapped below the waterline.
