Pilbara Vs Gascoyne fishing comp???

In light of the recent succes off the NOR Vs SOR comp i had the idea throwing a Pilbar Vs Gascoyne comp.Who would be interested? I know it would take a lot of organising but that doesnt mean it couldnt happen. Throw some ideas out there people. Say two comps, one around sep/oct and another around mar / april in each location. Try get some sponsors onboard could be a good thing. Tell us what you think. If we get enough people interested we could try organise something.

Good idea PB...

I'd be in, if someone can take on a deckie.

I think one in summer would be good though, so we can target barra :)

nice thinking jay, we could have like a 5 day window where all different species could be targeted, reefies, barra, billies, mackies etc. I might have a spot on my boat if all this ever happens. Perhaps we could make it an anual event. One year pilbara then gascoyne or visa versa.

Good to throw a few ideas into the basket PB. Be good to hear what the rest of the fishwrecked crew think.

should be fun organising seeing we have 1300km's of coast between Gascoyne and Pilbara. Worst case scenario we could always do a honours system - i can just imagine not being able to get a few days off... from the mrs - let alone work...

p.s. I reckon this comp would be a great idea - good thinking PB. I didn't want to sound like whinger with my comments above...

cheers \

Don't know how many guys there are on the site from the Gascoyne, apart from myself. I work mostly weekends too, so that may make things difficult. I'm open to suggestions and willing to see where things go and if we can make something of it.
