Pinjarra move

G'day lads, new to the forum, been viewin ya posts for a while now, about to make the move from the pilbara to pinjarra, keen to fish the Murray river and the mandurah estuaries, just wondering if it's worth the trouble and if there's any tips or advice you blokes can give.

Cheers

Black bream are good to

Black bream are good to target. Can always try for a feed of Blue mannas. Through the estuary Tailor, flatties, mullet, Dawesville Cut the odd salmon at the right time of year never know what else you can hook up in the cut. Can target prawns on the first big winter rains. And don't forget to drop a line in at the Ravenswood pub you'll definantly load a cold beer and a good feed occasionally some good bands for entertainment.

Murray river

Under the bridge in Pinjarra there is a wier. All freshwater upstream from there. I would look for the trout further upstream from here though, in the scarp where there are rapids and runs is the go for them. They can be caught a long way upstream. Redfin not so fussy, deeper pools and structure but the water levels are very low at the moment so not ideal. Black bream from the weir downstream all the way to the mouth. For some reason the peel -harvey does not get the bartail flathead like the swan so I wouldn't bother trying to target them. As mentioned tailor, skippy, herring, whiting, salmon trout fairly common in the cut. Adult salmon make an appearence in season when the currents suit.

A few ideas for you Fullyhooked.
