Placcy Pinks
With the pink snapper action still red hot in the outer areas of the Cockburn banned zone us staff at Oceanside Tackle have been all over it.
Last night shop owner Ryan Thipthorp took out good mate & FW member Frank on his boat and staff member Reese Powell took out his old man on their boat.
We all ended up with our 2 fish each and the McArthy softplastics in 7 inch bullhead minnow and 6 inch paddle tail doing the damage.
There's still time to get amongst these hard hitting reef dwellers before the demersal ban comes it.

Rod
what type of rod are you guys using for your soft plastic fishing? I'm interested in upgrading from the one I found in the shed. So I suppose the rod you suggest is it also able to say run plastics out into the 40s 50metre? I'm running a shimano 4000 spin reel 30 pound braid. Thanks for your advise in advance.

Rod suggestion
Sorry for the late reply mate, we use 6' plus rods and these rods are very univeral ie suits all what you have mentioned (including shallow water pink snapper etc)
A few suggestions would be the Eupro brand which represents great value for money and us staff use them also;
Eupro Giant King 6' PE1-3
Eupro Yacht Master 6'5 PE1-3
Both rods above with your FW discount are $179
If you wanted to step it up (not saying you need to) we also have other options. Feel free to PM us, pop in or call for more info.
Thanks guys for you comments, boss man Ryan Thipthorp took out staff member Marc Russell a few nights ago and the boyz managed to colour up the esky with multiple fish and below pics are the bigger fish of the sesh. All caught on McArthy SP's in all different colours and styles ie paddle tail and whiptail (minnow).
