pod of orcas

gidday all did anybody else see the pod of about 15 killer whales out in the 40s today at one stage they were all around the boat it was awesome got into some nice kgs to boot great day

quiet
it was quiet except for orcas and kgs lol but just havin the pod around the boat was tops and for a bit more excitement went to the aid of someone who had a dash fire and was stuck but all in all top day cheers mike

Yeh Craig we had 3 of em, looked like mumu/dad/young one swimming along and my mate said hey check that out killer whales/Orcas.....so went went for a look-see!
Took some pics, i'll post them up later, first time both of us have even seen them so yeh it was awesome!

Yep, We had one swim 'round the boat four times and came within about four metre's. Had a couple of tourists with me and they were blown away!!

I had a big pod of them
I had a big pod of them early this year off the cape at busso blew me away i didn't think we got them here. I call the whale watchers in town and they told me very rare and very lucky

We saw them NW of Mindarie Synthos!
My mate works in the fish trade and he got very excited so then i realised this is rare as Bill said, i'll post pics soon!
