medium softies dropped to the bottom and hopped will get you some surprises. Drifting half a mulie down in the current will often produce tailor, Bit of oil in the water helps. Skippy show up from time to time. As do salmon and whiting of various species. Seasonal though. Lotsa herring if you sprinkle a bit of burley around the entrance. Small hook, shelled prawn or little softies, slices or hardbodies all work well. You'll have to wade through the tarwhine and blowies when using bait though. I usually use a size 2 jighead or go unweighted. Don't be tempted to leave bigger baits on the bottom. Gigantic stingas haunt that area and will spool/bust you off. Lotsa bream around the structures, don't chip the pretty boats... The marina area where the tackle shop is is a marine park and cant be fished in. Bream above 50cm in there though...... Also watched a big sambo cruise around in there the other day. Prawns are an easy feed at night off the jolly frog at the moment. Good sizes too.
Anything can and will appear around here. Its a pretty diverse place and time spent will get you the rewards. As for the tidal flow, I don't think I'll ever work it out. Go and see Calvin at the tackle shop, he'll steer you in the right direction.

See ya out there. If I'm around its usually with two black and tan unleashed dogs. Say Gday and introduce yourself,

Splash.

Good luck.
