Pots stolen

Got a call from a mate down in Greenhead, telling me that since the holidays have started he has had 5 pots stolen, his neighbour is nearly in the same boat with four. Lucky enough that they cut up old pallets and build their own but it still costs for bait baskets, floats , ropes and steel for the escape gaps
They reckon from now on whenever there is an influx of holiday makers the pots are coming out.
To make matters worse, they haven't had a whites run this year so things have been pretty tight.

Seems pretty standard these
Seems pretty standard these days unfortunately. Keeping them in later than the 15th of Dec and you're asking for it

john , did they have their gear ID marked on their pots ??
this by no means wont stop the thieving , but it sure as hell helps deter it in my experience down south
we have been pirated, but not had pots stolen over the years with our gear id on them

ID
ID was carved in to the pots.
What I think is that they borrow some pots for the time they are there. Move them right away where they won't be found and use them as if they were their own.

low lifes
we pulled ours out in the metro water before the holidays started, we were lucky and only had them pulled a couple
of times but not stolen.
