Houli was huge, as was Kelly for the losers...
Hard to see the cats winning a flag with the current crop, Hawkins, Ablett, Taylor, Selwood all getting older.
Kelly not being there next year is a big hole to fill.

Tough loss after absolutely storming home albeit with help from the goal review umpires. Grundy was huge and dominated the ruck contest and the Pies took almost every 1/2 chance that presented itself. One of the better finals you'll ever watch.
Nice night to take pooch out for a spin around the block.

I disagree about Grundy
I disagree about Grundy dominating the Ruck.
I thought he was ok early when mummy was sloppy giving away free kicks. I thought in the second half GWS held their own in the ruck especially if you include the Finlayson goal from the stoppage where some were calling a push.
Mummy ruck gather at the death when he cleared the area in the danger zone was all time.
You'd be a brave man to back against that mob next week. I think the Tigers might be in for a shock

Imo it wasn't.
Watching the first quarter and watching how much pressure GWS had on the ball carrier and the reciever I though it was evident they came to play. About ten times early they just got a hand in to act as a spoil

Good pressure by GWS and a lot of poor disposals by the Pies where they missed targets so had to scramble for the ball, yes it was wet but that wasn't like the pies usual quality.
Toby can rip some eyes out next saturday and Gws will give the Tigers a shake but but I would expect Tigers to be more settled and do the job.

Finlayson shifted him waaay to easily to kick a goal from a stoppage and if he was so fucking good why didn't they win.

Unc I would've paid a free kick forsure. I also would've given Cameron a free kick straight in front when he was held. I also wouldn't have awarded a goal to Thomas when it was clearly touched by two different blokes but you know what that's footy.
The goal Finlayson kicked was all time, what's the worst that can happen if you give a little shove. It's a free kick to Grundy.
The best that can happen though was a potential game winning goal, well worth the risk and one the umps missed.
The vision I saw though was he basically used the small push to continue Grundys direction of travel, pretty well disguised and a move Grundy should've been well aware of!!
Ben Mckevoy and Johnathon Ceglar wouldn't have allowed that but then again they don't play for the wobbles.
