hello everyone i have very bad math and on the net can only seem to find ratios in gallons
i have a 3hp yami that i just bought that runs on 75:1
i have to fill a 5 litre tank so it would be 75 ml of oil right?
i just dont want to blow up my engine
whats the easiest way to work this out

Start > Run > Calc
5000ml / 75 = 66.667mls
If it was 100:1 for 100ml of fuel there would be 1ml of oil so for 1ltr would be 10ml of oil, 5ltrs = 50ml
If it was 50:1 for 100ml of fuel there would be 2ml of oil so for 1lt would be 20ml of oil, 5ltrs = 100ml
If it was 75:1 for every 100ml there would be 1.3333ml of oil so for 1ltr would be 13.3333ml, 5 litre = 66.6667ml

yeah i said to my dad
66.66 ml and he said, put 70 or 75ml because you wont get all the oil out of the measuring container and its always better to have more oil than less oil

Sounds like a new motor so I guess you will go to 50:1 in time?
