Pressure cleaner recommendations

G'day all, wondering if a few of you that have pressure cleaners or have knowledge on them could help me out!
I am strongly considering getting a water pressure cleaner to clean down my boat and for other jobs around the house. I have never had one before so know bugger all about what to look for with PSI rating or motor watt/hp. Or even what is the better way to go petrol or electric.

As always money is a key factor and I really wouldnt want to spend more than $300

All info apreciated.

Cheers
James

You've got to catch fish first before using a pressure cleaner on your boat mate???

Or is it to clean the spew like the boys said?

(Hehehehe) should move this one to the sledging thread.

Matt, just have it ready for all the NOR boats to clean at the ramp, actually I think we might have to bring our own otherwise there will be a fair wait for the SOR boys to clean the blowie crap off their boats. (Hehehe)

Cheers Fella's!

*Thanks Matt might have to take you up on that offer so I can see how well it will work.

*Tim I will have to have words with you later, your getting a bit cheeky. ;)

*Andy keep the sledging to the other forum please, I will take a ribbing from my southern brothers but your a northerner and thats just crossing the line! You just wait until we get on the water. ;)

*Might give the GMC a miss Shagg, glad it is serving you well but I have only had trouble with GMC stuff to date.

*Andrew can you PM me info on your alto, my old neighbour had one of those after his kartcher crapped it self also.

My main concern is what ever I get needs to have a fair bit of grunt to lift the oil etc out my driveway pavers that my leaky old cruiser leaves behind.

I got a suggestion Jimbo. Fix the leaky cruiser then you wont need the cleaner.

If you do get one bring it around and Ill give it a go on the boat myself.

Karcher

Sat, 2007-05-19 13:15

I have a Karcher I use for Cleaning roofs etc 2200 psi , gets everything off anything (well nearly)

I got a 9 m extension pipe for it so I can do 2 story house roofs and for driveways as well , I can't complain about it as it has paid for itself 5 times over at least, have gone thru a few attatchments but thats what happens when you use something a lot.

cheers MAV

Cleaning

Mon, 2007-05-21 07:49

Yeah it will be more for cleaning the GRP floor(no carpet) and outside of the hull. As with a tri hull there are a lot of hard to reach places underneath.
