have just been down to the local iga and found my new favourite idea for cold mornings or all nighters on the boat. it tastes magic and is amazingly convenient . so for all you coffee drinkers here it is. taste 10/10

Interesting. Even more
Interesting. Even more interesting is that it tastes good (not that i've tried). Now they can do that, would be interesting if they did one with just water. Instant hot water. Sure it would be a little more effort, but you could have the exact tea/milo/coffee/etc you wanted pretty easily.
Though, it would also double up for getting stung by various things where you want hot water but its not exactly easy to get on a boat. Would be awesome if they made it in a little sachet for that purpose (perhaps they do?)
How's the temperature though? Especially with a metal can?

Have you young blokes ever
heard of a thermos flask? When you use them you can make your mix of hot drinks. A dash or two of brandy, rum or whisky in coffee makes it much more appealling.

Yuk!
Mmmm??? I saw them the other day somewhere and thought "That would have to taste like shite in a can surely?". Mind you, I am not a huge fan of hot coffee. So how does it work? I think some brainiac will make a killing on them for sure. If for nothing else than the novelty of them. It's definately not my cup of tea!

There's a reaction
There's a reaction chamber in the centre of the cup which has calcium oxide and water in there, both separated. this chamber is surrounded by another which contains the coffee. when you press a tab on the bottom of the can the calcium oxide and the water mix and react. this is an exothermic reaction which lets off energy and heats the coffee.

What the???
Are you yanking my chain or what? If you are - cheers - great effort! That's a hell of an explanation. If you're not, then cheers for explaining it.
