prop damage

hi there anyone know how much damage you can do to a prop before its u/s ive got a 4 blade stainless steel prop its got some minor chips and marks taken of the edge and scuff marks across the front of the blades are they repairable its a 141/4x17 if they are not repairable whats the cost of a new 1 thanks

mate just clean the blades
mate just clean the blades up as best you can thats all your mechanic will do but generally you will trash a gearbox before you break a stainless prop

some of the shops like solas
some of the shops like solas can grind the dings out ... any dents should be knocked out as they can cause it to cavitate

I just did some big damage to my prop 2mths ago and brought a new one from just propellers
stainless you can be looking around $800-$1300 depends on size of motor/prop
I got my damage prop repaired from westcoast marine (brad) 92492749
