Okay I have a 4.5m cc alicraft with a 60 Etec pushing it along...problem it gets bogged in the hole when taking off with two blokes...1st step I shifted weight forward and put a fin on the motor...all helped but still digs in...latest I have fitted a recommended 4blade prop which has help but when trimmed up under steam and doing tight turns I get a lot of capitation unless I trim right down for the turn....thinking take the fin off for a test and then maybe lower the motor...with prop motor is running right revs top end and pushes boat along okay....am I on the right track guys?

Put your 3 blade back on
make sure your motor height is correct. Is it a long or Xlong leg? Is the transom 20" or 25". Just a few Q's to check 1st.

What size prop?
60 hp should be fine- go back to the 3 blade and maybe drop a size prop- just propellers have helped me in the past- he'll have an idea

Cavitation plate
Check to see if the motor isn't fitted too high , the cavitation plate should be directly in line with thebottom of the hull. To check this , get a straight edge and place it on the bottom of the hull to see how it aligns with the plate.
Could be you weight distribution is out [too front heavy] and the motor is tilted too far up.
IMO take the hydrofoil off, they are an absolute last resort and can create more problems .
I've got a 60 Etec with a 3 blade stainless prop pushing a 5.0 plate ali CC, top speed with all gear and 2 on board is around 28 knots without fine tuning trim.
