Punching in waypoints??
Submitted by sackshaker on Wed, 2017-01-11 18:11
Hi guys. I've been given a few waypoints (lucky me) to try out when i get the chance.
Quick question.....for example if i was given the mark.
32.99.99 115.99.99
SHOULD i be punching in 32.99.990 115.99.990
Or 32.99.099 115.99.099
Yep probably a stupid question for most.
Thanks in advance guys.

Nah it doesnt work like
Nah it doesnt work like that. They need to be converted from 2 numbers to 3 numbers. There are various websites that have converters on them.

Try this
When you have the last digits of a lat/long in point blah blah blah it is a metric measurement. As bluedog has said you need to convert it to seconds if you are using degrees minutes seconds.
Hope this site helps out.

May be wrong
May be wrong but I think you will find .99 will be a shortened .990 as if it was in seconds it would not be over.59.
