Putting together a Sambo jigging trip with Saltwater - 5th of December, the lead-up to the full moon which is THE day for it.

Hey guys,
With the leadup to the full moon i'm putting together a trip out with saltwater charters on december 5th (friday). The 5th is THE day for jigging sambo's and aj's as they fire up hard before the full moon. Craigs boat leaves from Hillarys Marina at 6am on the 5th and gets back roughly around 3pm. Breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks all included. The cost per person is $250.

went out with Saltwater on Sunday. Bit of a slow start, fish were there but not biting, but Craig persevered, day ending in sambo carnage!!! Highly recommended.

What depth are the shallow spots (what jig weight were you running)
I've got a collection from 200g up to 350g and wondered if ill need anything lighter.

his shallow spots are 30 to 45 but they were hitting plastics alot more than jigs but the jigs they were hitting were the longer type jigs 150g sIze etc with natural colours working better
key is hard and fast as you can haha my technique with the platic was a demersal style jig then just crank it white colour platics aswell

Bit sore today!
Warmed up on pups in shallow then headed out to a wreck for total mayhem. My first experience of targeting them in deep water. A big Dhuie has got nothing on these beasts. Under gunned with pe3.... but still managed to nail my fair share. Cheers to Josh for putting the trip together and also to Craig for putting us on the spots. Unreal
