i was sitting thinking of going all morning  so the call goes out and i got a crew and off we go

boat in at about 1030 and lures in at 1035 straight out in front of the passage, it was a good SE blowing 15/18 knots  so slow it was

just over the 40m mark and we are on 10mins and i have a 30/35kg black marlin boat side

off we go and 60m mark here we go again, this was bigger. i watched him come up on the lure and he was good [80ish] had a quick strike and a few big jumps and spat it

off again 85m mark another fish comes it for a look only a small one this time, he had a quick bill wack and off he went

start trolling and 100m mark i started pulling the lures in and the last lure was coming in and a sailfish starts chasing, so we stop the boat for a bottom bounce and he swam off

in 5 miles of the passage we had 3 marlin and a sailfish up, his was great way to start the day off 

first fish was a good goldband which a good shark liked the taste of, it was the biggest goldband head i have ever seen

we got 8 goldband, 1 pinksnapper, 1 tomato cod and a saddletail

was a good way to kill an arvo

the fish i measured was 54cm to get the size of the head
