Lets hope the people of Japan and anyone in the area get through this with as little loss of life as possible...

Just a run of bad events.
Just a run of bad events. Sorry to people getting killed by nature, but if you compare it to whats happening in Libya you'll soon see it's people you need to afraid of not the weather or natural events. It was intereting listening to Prof Robert Carter on 6pr this morning. Anyone else hear what he had to say?

Nature
We seem to have seen more natrual disasters in the last few months than I can remember in a long time.
The footage from Japan,it is hard to comprehend the destructive power of the wall of water.

The last I read
so far 32 people confirmed dead, which unfortunately I think will be in the hundreds if not thousands, the worst for 140 years they are saying in Japan. RIP

Hope they got the warning out in time, that was a massive quake.

watching the news today and
watching the news today and the damage is horendous. its amazing how much damage a tsunami can cause in a place like that. the quake itself has done a fair bit of damage but when you see whole houses floating away and being turned into splinters it goes to show the true force of what the water can do
