Queenfish-ing (Part 2 included)

JK and I hit up the river mouth Friday morn to target the local queenie pop on surface lures due to a window of half decent weather and a day off work. JK managed to get one trolling a little roosta popper on the way back from a drift but apart from that it was only a few half hearted swipes and strikes. We also came across a very aggressive school of tailor which was fun except for losing multiple lures in quick succession lol. They were mad! A vid is on its way.
These guys were looking a bit stuck lol...

Part 2!
10/10/09 - Part 2
Ok, part 2 of this story started the following day as we tried the same spots for little results. I picked up a nice little, just over 50cm tailor early on but for the most part of the afternoon the queenies (and some brutes as well!) were just following the lures in and on occasions having a swipe. We tried everything! Before leaving I picked up a little brassy trev which went hard but that was it. Both fish were released.
Working on it...
Can anyone tell me the difference between a brassy and the rest?
Cheers.
