Quick trip out
Had a quick dive today with Jacqui left hillarys at around 9:30, target was a spot about 1/2 a mile north of little island pretty shallow one today dove around 4m, 8m at the deepest.
On the way out we usually always anchor at little island to jump in have a swim and slide into our wetties in the water, anywho in my haste to get the boat ready today i slipped straight into my boardies pretty much forgeting about an under garment. As I jumped into the water i realised my predicament of freeballing.. o well i figured. Jacqui threw me my wettie as i stripped off underwater threw my boardies on the boat i heard a screech from jacqui... WAT THE F&*K IS THAT! i shat myself as i saw through the crystal clear water i could see the local sea life litterally sitting down on the sand right under me a meter and a half down watching the show... bloody seals... i'm sure i could see his confused expression and thinking so thats what humans looklike i wonder if i should bite it! well i scrambled into my wettie at record speed and soon had my fins, mask and jacqui over the side for wat turned out to be a hour long play with the seal till he got bored and flipped us off.
Dive was pretty cool and we found a pair of sea dragons that we saw last time we dived here, at the same ledge too so i'm starting to think they're residents but i'll make my decision if we see em again :) swam around abit all up 1 hour and 10minutes, plenty of crays around and I managed to get my bag limit this time, lots of undersize ones around and they were quite skittish, also saw plenty of nudi's once again(they seem to be everywhere lately) site also has some cool caves that i'm waiting to take some snaps of but that'll be for next time as i just can't seem to pry my camera out of jacqui's hands.
But yea was a good day out and well needed as i hadn't been out for two weeks to get my boat time fix. hopefully many more to come as i scored the week off from work too! hell yea!
P.S cray boats were in close today 3 boats working just behind the reef breaks so fingers crossed it'll pick up very soon.

Nice dragon shot
Like how you shot it from below so that it's silhouetted against the surface/sun!

Yea jacqui took most of the pics including the sea dragon one, little bugger was franticly trying to get away from her to the point it had swam from its ledge and had swam up to within a meter of the surface. haha he worked it out well i reckon he was just trying to capture himself in the best light... vain little bastard :)

More light = strobe, and
More light = strobe, and once you go down that path its a very slippery slope!
