Recent shark bay reports

Heading upto Denham next week with a few mates and was wondering if anyone can give me an indication of how it's currently fishing. Any very recent reports would be greatly appreciated. Will be taking my 18 foot boat.

Got back last week

Got back a week ago and although the weather could have been a bit kinder we did O.K.

Monkey Mia was VERY quiet compared with previous years, lots of pinkeys but can't take them in the Easten Gulf at the moment, only kept 1 decent bluebone from that side in 2 days fishing.

Did well at Steep Point with lots of pinkeys, a few red emperor, baldies, cobia, rankin cod and the usual red throat.

Lots of fish at Turtle Bay, but lots of sharks too, even skull dragging fish to the boat it was dificult to beat the sharks.

Anywhere around Bar Flats was producing fish, but it was a little slow.

Undersize pinkeys seem to be everywhere and more good size pinkeys about than I have seen there before.

Have fun,

The Saint
