Heading to Broome in may for a couple of weeks and want to get out and give barra fishing a crack . Could anyone recommend a good charter if it's worth while that time of year

Probably struggle on the Barra front Russ, water will be too cold, but should be plenty of threadies around. Sailfish will be in close that time of year so might be a good experience.

I've fished on Billistic and caught sails later in the year and that was great fun. I've also been barra fishing with Jeff from West Kimberley Fishing Tours. We didn't catch any barra butthat was because the guys who got hits were hopeless and didn't keep tight lines and the fish were lost.
