Recycled Pallet side table

made a few weeks ago after not being able to find what we wanted, anything that did come close was $500 and above! This only set us back $60 and a few hours in the shed.... most time consuming part was sorting  and de nailing what we needed, went through 5 pallets to get The job done...

I've been doing the same with the kids to give them plenty of material for a tree house. I break down the pallets, clean up the timber and cut to size for them and they go to town with a hammer and nails.

Whoa, just hang on a minute

Gee I hope you have had the plans for the tree house drawn up by a structural engineer, then submitted a plan of just were this tree is located to the EPA for their approval

Then submitted the tree house plan to the shire so they can come out and survey the tree.
Then when all these things have been done you can then submit the fore said tree house plan to the shire who will send out letters to all your neighbours for approval to the tree house after a study has been carried out to see if the tree house will cast a shadow on any of your neighbours yards.

When all these requirements have been complied with, then, and only then will the shire send all the paper work on to the state planning council so that their arse is covered in case something has been over looked.

LOL

Just having a bit of fun mate, really glad that there are still Dads that can give kids the best gift in the world, a free mind and the encouragement to use it and have some good old fashioned fun and do something without all the b****t that hinders our young developing kids.

Go for it kids and enjoy.

Cheers guys, sometimes it's worth giving things a crack yourself... if anyone was chasing pallets I found Bunnings was the place to go, all free and plenty to choose from...
