RED BULL Air Race crash on Swan River today
Submitted by Tony Halliday on Thu, 2010-04-15 12:14
I was driving in at 11am today and watched the planes pratcing,
just after I left we heard the bang and heard the sirens.
Seems one of the planes got it wrong and hit the water!
well it was bound to happen sooner or later in this sport.
Just hope the pilot is ok?
Nothing on the news yet! on on the The West website.
Tony

latest seems it was the
latest seems it was the Brazilian pilot in the yellow plane.
He is at the hospital and in a stable condition.
Bloody lucky to survive a plane crash at the speeds they do!
I wonder if anyone got it on film, as there was a few photographers on the forshore watching when I left just before 12. I must have missed it by about 3 minutes max!
