Relax Wild Fishing at Dam With Italian Couple By BKKGUY
I just came back from 3 DAYS of wild fishing trip with an Italian couple to the dam (400km) drive away. Simon STRICTLY emphasis to me "NO PONDS FISHING" (take away Pilot 111) for him, only want to relax fishing in the wild dam with his wife. The hunting game & true fishing as a real fisherman. He has NEVER fish a snakehead before in his life but always amaze at the sudden attack on topwater lures and speed of this unique freshwater fish.
Simon was so happy & falls in love with the nature wild fishing with me that he is planning another return trip to fish with me again in the month of May 2011. Next round, he is going to plan a even longer fishing trip-5-6 DAYS in the wild with me to 2 different places in Thailand .

I'm always happy to see serious 'willing to learn ' angler migrate from pond fishing to the challenging wild kind of fishing. Although you don't get as much bite rates & hookups as compare to the well stocked pond fishing but at least you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery and 'true fishing' what the mother nature offer to us.

The transport.....comfortable SUV for easy ride. Afterall, the journey is very long 400KM (4hrs) drive away from bkk city.
This time round, I've to put up my car roof box in order to accomodate all the things for the trip.
I've just bought this rather useful rod holders for my toyota fortuner.
This rod holder can hold 5 ready rods setup easily for any long fishing trip.
Passengers can relax under the rod & tackles inside the SUV. ;)
Over in Thailand if you're planning a long distant journey fishing trip, a 4 wheels SUV is the best solution transportation . Always ready for any unexpected terrain situation like this below :

We left bkk city at about
We left bkk city at about 1.00am .....................
We arrive the dam at about 5.00am and then my already waiting boatman started transferred all our luggages, things & us to his floating house as arranged by me.
NO AIR CON !!! NO SHOWER ROOM !!! NO CYBER NET !!!
A true get away from the hectic works and pollution of the city.
That what wild fishing is all about...-- TO BE RELAX. ;)

Despite this is not the month
Despite this is not the month for toman & sebarau fishing.
Simon managed to get 20 hits & bites and successfully landed a few toman by himself.
Like I always tell all my coming anglers.
I can bring you to the best spot !!! Give you the best lures !!! Give you the best advise and tips. Whether you can successfully land how many toman for the trip, it will be entirely in your own hands.
