Richter Lures Photo Competition - HUGE prize
Mark Richter from Richter Lures has given fishwrecked.com members an opportunity to win a $500 lure pack for the best photo or video which demonstrates his product catching fish over the next three months.
You can either enter the competition by uploading the photo's onto the site, by emailing me, or sending the videos to:
Adam Gallash

Floreat, Perth WA 6014
adam@fishwrecked.com.
Mark will decide who the winner is and which photo's he wishes to use for future promotions and publications.
Don't be shy to try in the metro area either, there has been some solid yellowfin tuna landed lately and you could see your tackle box overflow with a range of quality Richter lures. I hope this gives you all some incentive to get out there amongst them.
I will post up a few more example photo's once I've scanned them.
Tight lines, look foward to seeing some great shots.
Cheers,
Adam

Richter Lure Competition
I've just been sent some magical photo's from Vincent Keyser of sailfish and marlin destroying Richter lures, more proof of their success in catching billfish. I will post a couple of them up in the coming days as I choose which ones should be used for the competition and which will be good for the site.
Make sure you get your entries in, $500 worth of lures goes a long way!!!

See we even read the fishwrecked pages in South Africa. With regards to the Richter lure photo competion, here is a Yellowfin Tuna of 80kg caught by Dale Hattingh on a Richter Pezula M 17/3 at Cape St Francis in South Africa. Yes, we even use the lures to good effect in South Africa!! We share the Indian Ocean so I hope we qualify . Cheers, Mark Beard]

Recommended Colours
Adam do you (or anyone for that matter)have any thoughts on successful skirt colours.
I personally always liked pink and green but I had black mentioned to me today.
I will have to buy a fist full of Richter in the coming days before the drive to Billy heaven.
And who will sell these at the 'right' price????? Has Gribbo cleaned out Ryan....or has Ryan bages all his own stock for his trip....

Richter Lures - Recommended Colours
I bagged a Black Marlin on a pink/blue but a purple/black is a must. Ask your tackle shop for at least a 17/3 and a 502/506 (all this refers to are skirt colours as each lure has 2 skirts on). If you like you can phone Mark Richter direct on 0410474290 for advice but he sells strctly through tackle shops and here Ryan Thipthorp (Oceanside), Nick Hocking (Ranger), Mick Grasso (Blue Water) and Tony Tuin all have VAST knowledge of the range. Get a few colours also in the Metal Heads. All these lures smoke through the water!!!

Richters
Depends if you want them rigged or unrigged, Ranger Ossie Park does them at a good price unrigged where Nick Hocking works, Oceanside does them at a good price rigged with quality maruto hooks. I prefer to rig my own but depends on what you want to pay.
I will take a happy snap of the lucky lure and post it up soon.
