Rigs

Hello I just purchased some ready made whiting rigs I am however a little bit confused the rig has a swivel at one end to attach it to the main line then two clips coming off the body of the line with the attracting red beads I would normally expect swivels not clips and I am confused as to where to attach the hooks do I just put the hooks on the lips or attach a swivel and more line then the hooks I have hopefully attached a pic of the rig cheers

Sounds a little strange. So basically it has a swivel at top for attachment to mainline. 2 droppers comming off with red beads. and I assume another clip or loop at the bottom for a sinker??

If its a ready made rig, then you shouldnt have to add more line. You shoudlnt even have to add hooks!! Sounds like the hooks are supposed to go in the clips just after the red beads.

Probably easier to just make your own. One piece of line. 2 dropper loops. Swivel at top. Loop or clip for sinker at bottom. Away you go.

Well, there is always the possibility that the clips could come undone. Or put the fish off. Or make the hook sit funny against the line. I certainly wouldnt be using clips.

think of all the money you will save tying your own.

it is more rewarding catching fish on own rigs anyway.

all the best.
