Reality is, our 22 on the field today played crap and Richmond didn't. Richmond had 21 of their best 22 on the park today. We had 4 of our best out, and another 3 of our second tier players on the side line. there is no need to panic. so sixth place Richmond at almost full strength only got away from us in the last 15 minutes, after our second 22 played shite. freo can step it up a notch or two in coming weeks.

The woefully imprecise decision making against FFC throughout the game was sickening for me to watch.
Must have given them 3 goals at least. This sort of thing is disheartening for all of us involved including the the team.

Today we lost because we weren't up to scratch. And I mention our starting 22 today, because it puts our season into context. Reality is, we have played the entire year with significant outs. and we have only lost 4 games. I am very happy with that. and that's why there is no need to panic. what's Collingwood's excuse? Hey, they can kick a few goals, problem is the opposition kick more. Never going to win many games that way. But you keep it up, support your team. I like the Tiges coz they play a brand of footy like the Hawks (Hardwick), unlike you, I wont be talkin my team up and havent so far, when the go up against competitive sides, although I have the right to be more cofident cos we got a far better side and coach than you boys. We are in a good position atm, game clear on top, covering the injured, plenty of youth and resting some players, but the Bombers will be a tough game on Friday night, and so will the Tiges and a few others. I have a realistic out look on my teams ability, you Freo fans get too pumped up by the local media or something, or just smoke too much Freo buds. No expectations, no disappointments

Genuinely agree with you there, Suns are playin good footy, Freo in their window now, will fall short like Lyons Saints, but wont taste it like them with out a few more dominant key position players. The Pies are like the Hawks and the Cats, the window stays open longer with the introduction of talented youth and excellent recruits from other clubs, except the Hawks are kickin arse at that, Geelong doing well with their younguns, Pies, well, they are just playing copycat without as much success. They should drop the consistently inconsistant Cloke and go after Buddy, Im sure shit paper worthy Eddie could pull the strings to get the coin together
