Polarised glasses

Gonna buy a new pair of polarised glasses. I need info on the lens colour for the canning river. I read all these awesome reviews about them and show how you can see through the water. I have these bolle ones with black lens and can't seem to see anything in brown canning water, it's seems ok for say bright conditions from the rocks at freo. Does different coloured lens makes difference? Or what is the best ones for brown water?

Thanks in advance fellas.

Different colour lenses do

Different colour lenses do make a bit of difference. Smoke/grey is a good all round colour while amber is good for sunny days & stained water. The problem is the upper canning (& swan) isn't stained water from tannins, its brown from crap suspended in the water column, there's no lense that can get you to see through suspended muck. Further downstream where it's clearer, polaroids can be very helpfull but upstream they will only offer a little bit of assistance to see fish or snags that are only just below the surface. Personally I'd opt for a pair of grey/smoke coloured lenses as they will be the most usefull in a variety of different locations & in a variety of weather conditions.
