Hi guys
looking for a pair of rock shoes for north mole style rocks
At the moment I just use an old pair of sneakers but it was wet the other night and caused problems
are the rock boots with spikes any good?
and will they work as well on dry rocks as wet rocks
any advice on what works best is appreciated
thanks

Im no guru but i would
Im no guru but i would assume that spikes on granite rocks would be worse limestone maybe but the granite is too smooth and hard for spikes. I could be wrong. I used to wear basketball sneakers, i think when the granite is wet everything would slip.

Rock hopper spike boots
Rock hopper spike boots are very effective both on dry and wet stones. The grip you get is amazing and you dont slip.
We stock them also if that helps, send us a PM for more info if you require.

yep ive used the metal rock hoppers for years down on the granite and never had a slip. just remember to open the windows in the car asap... long sessions in the sun make for some very smelly toes haha

Awesome
The rock hopper boots are awesome. Once you get some you'll be amazed at how much grip you get, and the confidence they give you especially when fighting a fish and moving from rock to rock.
Of course they are not invincible, so wet black rocks are still to be avoided

The adrenalin and mirage rock
The adrenalin and mirage rock hopper boots are ok but dont last if your on the stones the wetsuit material blows out, the spikes dont last and they dont drain Ive been through a heap.
Then I found aquaz these are the go for me much more ankle support like a work boot but light, small replaceable screws in the bottom wich last, drain beautifully and stick like velcro to the rocks bit more exspensive but compared to buying the other ones a couple times a year they have paid for them selves spose it depends on how often you need them

Ive got some rock cleats that
Ive got some rock cleats that screw onto the bottom of normal sneakers
They are stainless plates with holes punched in them that give sharp edges to grip the rocks
Brand new never used them, cant say how well they work
There yours for free if you want to try them
