Rod holder inserts

Hi
I need to get hold of a few of these - see picture.
They are to be used in my existing rod holders to try using adjustable rod holders mounted on top.
I cant remember where I bought this one nor can I remember what they are called. Any ideas on this greatly appreciated

You can get these from
You can get these from downriggershop. That use them for mounting a downrigger in a rod holder. Would also be very easy for a fabricator to throw together.
I have one here for my downrigger if you want to try..

Thanks gruntree. I have the one in the picture. Pretty sure I got it from the downrigger shop as well but needed to have my memory jogged. The one I have is also for my downrigger ( which I have never used yet
) Do you have much success with the downrigger and what species do you use it for ?
Will contact the downrigger shop tomorrow to order another.

No mate, same as you. Used
No mate, same as you. Used it a couple of times only. Seems like you can only use it at super slow speeds otherwise the bomb trails to far back. You really have to find the fish first

Cheers for that. i will give it a go soon as I have just been on the downrigger shop home page and it does seem like they can be helpful.
Great gear on their website. I will place an order for the insert plus a bunch of other stuff
One more question - what size bomb have you tried ?
