HEY EVERYONE.
I NEED HELP . . I BROUGHT THIS ROD A FEW YEARS AGO FROM ADVENTURESPORT IN KARRATHA. IT IS 5FT6" AND 30-50LB. I KNOW IT WAS IMPORTED FROM THE USA AND COST ABOUT $700 AS A PROMO. IT ONLY HAS XTREME SS AND 30-50LB ON THE BLANK AND I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND IT ON THE NET. IT IS INCREDIBLY LIGHT AND HAS A SH*TLOAD OF GRUNT. IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THESE ROD IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Its not a custom jobbie is it? And theres no way in the world that thing is worth $700. I've seen top of the range custom Calstar fully rollered absolute pieces of art built for $500-$600.

Yeah, thats exactly why i
Yeah, thats exactly why i want to find out a bit about it. Dont want to look an idiot when i sell it and aske an unreasonable price. If i remember correctly it was the material it was made from that made it so expensive. I cant remember what it was and its probably common now as it was several years ago. I do remember that there was several members of the dampier or karratha gamefish club ordering them with their name and DL number built into the blank because they where so expensive. Might have to ring the store and hope someone there remembers the rods. Thanks for replying anyway.. . It just sits in my closet and i would rather see it being used

No worries mate. It's more
No worries mate. It's more than likely graphite or could even be a composite blank. Either way im sure it would make a good trolling rod :)
