Rod Wrapper

I decide a while ago that I'd like to have a crack at making my own rods so I enlisted the help of a friend to help make my own rod wrapper. Pretty happy with it.

looks good mate, just see how you go with that thread spool holder if that's what it is on the far side, it's good to have about 150mm between the spool and the rod to allow you work the threads fo swapping colours or starting/finishing the bind. might be worth chopping off the top row, if you haven't done it before then cover the parts of the rod that come into contact with the guides of the "lathe" with masking tape to not mark it, and have clean hands when wrapping too, nothing worse than a bit of a dirt smudge when you've just done a shitload of intricate wraps.

Thanks for the advice Brucesta. I'll see how I go with the first couple and that thread spool holder.
