Recon I've seen one close to the 1m in a cave once on the five....he was circling....my entry was limited I could only get the shoulder and gun through....aiming, waiting...he was aggravated and keen to get out....I shot but missed, spewin...he actually laid on his side and fluted in the sand squeezing through the smallest of exists right before my eyes......ill find him again one day.

Got the best shot I could have asked for through the back and out through its chest plate had the fish good it run straight for a leg but I manage to drag it out and have it in my hands around 15seconds after reaching the surface dive buddy already waiting with a knife we were blessed with 20metre vis aswell

Always good to get a nice
Always good to get a nice dhu on spear. The buggers can be quite slightly, my big one I followed for 45mins trying to get a spear in. Solid fish for metro, sadly they are not as thick as there south relatives which are a lot more solid. Mine was only 1100 and weighed 23 kilos. If yours was south would have smashed the 20 kilo mark easy. Anyways congrats on a friggen solid solid donkey for metro well done
