I'm off to rotto Saturday just for a day trip but im gonna have to take the rods and have a bit of a play any ideas just fir a bit of fun fishing prob around Thomson bay area thanx guys

was there last week
herring every where in the evening. large silver trevally are lurking but only in the late arvo. squid were hard work last week but found them on the refueling and other smaller jetties at night. got a mixed bag at the green island jetty during th day if you can get out there. didnt get any tailor in the wash around the island but im sure they are there. anyways enjoy.

We're heading out from Hillarys around 11am. Like you we're heading to Thomsons but we're just heading over for some lunch and showing a novice around Rotto. Should be a good day. Weather being kind, hopefully.
