Geez...Seabreeze can make the forecast look so good. UNTIL you get out!! What a PAIN IN THE ASS ride out to find fish. Still enjoyed the company of Brody and his mate out wide of Hillarys today. Ended up with only a sized Pinkie and undersize Dhuie. We came right in after we had enough of the tumbling water out there to find some squid. Wasnt a whole lot around but still managed to score about 10 with some corkers! Atleast 2 of them easily over the 1kg mark.
These 5 came all at once. Size 3.0 jig for size comparo.

Geez it was COLD out there.
Yes been a long time since the last boat trip but I have been fishing the weekends, just not a lot due to the weather lately.
It was rough and tumbly til about 10.30-11.00 but we were out there since 8am!! So spent after lunch squidding instead.

wnet out the back of the five.....not much going........good size foxy, 44cm snapper and my deckie caught 8 squid and the biggest queenie i have seen.....i haven't seen many but this was about 80 -90 cms........yes the snapper went back all safe and well......

maybe his nan knitted it up for him for his birthday.Got to love them nanas lol nice squid guys.We had them that fired up last year that when you reached over the side to wash the ink off one another would try and take it or your hand .One of the guys grabbed one by hand but it got away minus a tenticle.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?
