Sad day
Submitted by Paul G on Mon, 2012-05-21 18:46
Well the ReLisa has been sold to a fishwrecked member. Bit sad after all the adventures we have had, but the new boat will open new doors, with the Abrolhos island first on the list. and some deep water trips on the cards. Will look forward to seeing pics of her on the forum still catching fish I hope.

Great boats Paul. Mate had a 5.2m Sea Rider and it handled really well for its size.
It was my first choice when I was looking to build a boat many years ago but there was a 18 month wait so I went for something else.

Sea Rider
I have a 7.5m Sea Rider. They are great boats. You will not be disappointed. They need trim tabs, but the ride is second to none. They do not come up for sale often. Did you pick up the red one that has been for sale. Sashimi I think it is called.

Bad Luck to Change a Boats Name
Unless you are the first owner you should never change a name or give a name to a boat that wasn't given one before it's first dip in the water as you will be cursed with bad luck.
But in case you don't care I like these names
Vitamin Sea
Playbouy
Piece of Ship
Master Baiter
Amy's Wine House
Wasted Seamen
Breakin Wind
Bullship
Ship Happens
Titan Uranus

Nice new boat
Hi Paul,
Congrat's on the new boat, That is a nice boat you have purchased.
Over the years I've had a few boats, though I do have a mate who is partner in our boats so we have turned them over quite quickly over the years,
First two were 6.5m razor lines, then upgraded to a 6.7m sea rider -this was an awesome boat and was a lot better ride then the razor lines in my option. Was very happy with the sea rider never had an issue with it and it handled all types of water in its stride.
My mate decided we should upgrade to a glass boat’s (different subject and price range too) so we sold our sea rider to a mate who is very happy with it still.
All the best for your new boat – I think you will be happy and surprised how good it rides for a plate boat.
Cheers
If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough
