Went for a salmon this morning as soon as we got to the beach there was a estimated 30 tone school going by and they just kept rolling through.Awsome fun lots of sardines round to, there was salmon smashing fish every where pulled out the light gear and had a ball ended up with thirteen in two hours.Didn't get any pics as i was by myself but tommorrow should get few.

Its down Moses rock road of caves road.Yeh sam the swell was awsome if you surf bout 2mtrs but died of heaps real deep water so it didn't really affect me.

dont tend to catch many salmon around elephant rock ive tryed there heaps get the odd on i find more of my hook ups around the cosy corner area just 1k up from the rock. Then again they have to pass elephant rock to get there ;)going to have to go back there in 3 weeks try for the old sambo.

Soo...
So the south rd,off moses rock rd, goes to honeycombs? I was on mapit.com.au lookin and it shows a bay southwards.Itlooks like a gravel track. Can a std car go to that bay or do ya need a forby?Only thing it didn't show any rocks ie:Elephant rock. Is there another map site that is beta?? MAXY

Yeh mate from memory if you cant get to elephant rock pull up at cosy corner there is a track that leads to the rocks of cosey and 1 down the dunes to the beach on that beach bout 500m-1k up is the rocks aka honey combs due to the people who drive like heros and spin up the trAck to elephant rock is slowly but surley deterierating witch makes only for the 4xs easy acsess a few years ago we pulled the old EA falcon through there that is surley a memory of the past. IF i am corect you speak of the honey combs in between elephant and cosy.

well the discussion of cosy and elephant rock can only meen one thing augusta area.so yeh im pretty sure there talking about honey combs in between the 2 areas stated. but there are so many fishing spots with the same name flat rocks is a clasic.

Nah, talking about honeycombs on the moses rock road.
The area near cosy corner I call something completely different.
It is sedan accessible but I hate driving down there cos it is almost the most corrugated road I have ever been on luckily the last steep bit is bitumenised. If yoy drive down there remember to go nice and steady before you hit the gravel or else everything will launch itself. Even had a rod fly out of the rod holders on the bull bar once.
