Did you eat it if so how do you cook them I barbequed one whole in alfoil once and it was the first and last time i ever tried eating one - was horrible
then fillet, cut out the red bits, roll in seasoned flour, then egg, then panko breadcrumbs, shallow fry in vegetable oil till golden brown on a medium heat, rest on paper towel. Eat as fresh as possible

You need to bleed it 1st

Yep , if you like smoked fish , then salmon make a great meal, done on the beach itself just adds to
the flavour ( salty air? )
I take a med large plastic container , the ones with the clipon lids ( sistema? ) and add fresh , very well trimmed salmon pieces
, a whole 6kg one feeds 4 people, and a mix of brown sugar and cold water, with a tiny touch of whatever flavour floats
your boat ( sweet chilli, garlic salt , lemon juice etc etc) , leave for say 2-4 hours , occas shaking container well.
Place salmon bits on paper towel to dry off , then hot smoke for 10 mins until deep golden brown.
Finally prepare to eat by twisting cap on beer bottle, and devour salmon at same time!
