Salmon Schools everywhere

I was at my spot on the weekend between Walpole and Margs. Schools of Salmon everywhere and they're
massive. Not only the size of the schools are large but the weight of the fish
is unbelievable. Our largest was 8.2kg and they averaged probably 6.5kg

Mostly caught on plastics with a few on Mulies. I just can't believe the size of them this year. Last year we were only getting 4 - 5 kilo fish maybe a 6 kilo if we were lucky. This year it's going off. Photo's to come

Cheers, Higgo

I use the time making sure all my rigs are spot on and making new lures, etc.

It can get pretty willing down there when the salmon crowd swarm down from Perth.

last weekend

not too many salmon at Peaceful Bay over a 4 day weekend.  A handful of fishers and even less fish.  I'd say the salmon are definitely moving west.   ;-)

The Peaceful Bay salmon camp is deserted - but not sure whether they still professionally fish it or any of them anymore.

Unsure about yourself mate but I actually do quite a bit of work finding my spots. Why would I tell you where my spot is? Fair enough making the comment you did. If you want to know it, ask me to send a p.m instead of whinging.

Like I said. I actually find my spots not use other people to access them easy. Should try it sometime - it's called GOOGLE EARTH.

Cheers,

Higgo
