Was 3 big ones until they got smashed by something then they broke into 9 schools. Some heading nrth some heading south.

Definately salmon LJ? I was out on the boat this afternoon and there were schools like that along horse beach but they were all scalies feeding on surface, more out near D9 aswell. Never seen so many? We were out looking for salmon, no sign of them :(

Good luck. I havent heard of many salmon around since big storm a couple weeks ago, few small packs of fish getting around landbased spots but havent heard much from boats. I caught one about 3 weeks ago, had tag in it, only just tagged that same week apparently, Fisheries didnt even know about the original capture when i lodged the report with them ha ha

Where abouts with this? Just south of Henderson? I work in Henderson, so might be worth taking the salmon rod for after work they are still coming through the area.

Heading out of freo last Thursday...Trawler working in close with massive schools of Fremantle sardines bubbling on the surface. Birds going nuts everywhere.

There might be SBT among them as well. I got a pearler out from Warnbro last week on a pink soft plastic in similar circumstances.

What do you think this heavy weather
Will do to the schools of salmon that have shown up in the metro area, tend to drive them in closer looking for food.
Or send them out deep.
I'm going to have a look for a snapper if conditions allow from Mandurah cut on Wednesday night. He's hopping

After that heavy weather & wind, the last few days, it should brake the schools up, then they generaly start biting a lot more, cheers Don.
