Saltiga S-Extreme Reels now Deleted from production where to buy

have heard and been confirmed that they are no longer producing any s-extreme reels from production
im still not overly conviced that the new 2010/2011/2012 are any good like the old saltigas
i mite have to pick a 6500 extreme up before its too late
cheapest i have found is $999
wonder who can beat that id sure buy another?

Ray and Anne's still have them mate
The 4500 is $799. Might be able to pick up a 6500 with a combo at a good price... Can always sell the rod

im still not overly conviced
im still not overly conviced that the new 2010/2011/2012 are any good like the old saltigas
I doubt 2001 technology is better then the new 2010 saltiga. The old model saltiga doesn't even compare to the new models. I'v fished with saltiga/stella/Saltiga 2010 and the new saltiga stands out for me.

yeh i have 2011 4000 and a

but have a thing for my 6500 expeditions
i havent really tested the new saltigas like my 6500 has been tested to its limits
i too aint convinced yet but of corse teh technology is way better thats visible
hard dilema to come by
