Sambo Jigging Today
Submitted by Simo_ on Sun, 2009-12-13 18:06
Went out jigging for Sambos today. Got to Point Peron at 10am, it was totally packed.
Headed out to the containers out the back of Rotto, it wasn't hard to find the spot, there was about 15 boats already there.
I got 2 and Amanda got 1. It was a PB for both of us.

I was the second boat on one
I was the second boat on one of the spots. When I first found the fish they where thick as all through the water column from 105m right up to 27m. Some of our fish where picked up on the drop. As more and more boats came along the fish thinned out big time and you really had to work hard for a hook up.
