Sambo Jigging Today

Thanks to Brutas I got out for a jig today but unfortunately things were quiet compared to last weekend. We did land 6 fish to about 25kg but there was a lot of km's and heaps of jigging between fish. Anyway I only took a few photos, including this sequence of Brutas on a fish which he did eventually land.

Anyway he did jig on and landed 2 more fish without his handle.
Thanks for a good day out mate.

Ouch!

I thought the fin-nors were a pretty sturdy general purpose reel.

Asahambe..if you need a decky for jigging..just post a request.Plenty of boat less jiggers on the site that will be keen to get out!

That's pretty hard core mate, jiggin on with no handle. 10 points for effort!!

Well done.

Are the barges spread out or in a fairly tight area?

The fish were pretty far between werent they, i managed a beauty of about 35kg with smaller ones. Got smoked by two big ones and that was about it. Great day on the water though. Defo no where near as much fish as last weekend
