A few guys on here might be intrested......Talked to a guy at work today. Said while he was diving at Rotto last sat, he saw 4 spanish macks. Time to get out the lures boys!

Yeh good heads up Wade, my customers that are speros are seeing them also. Just gotta tempt them to eat a lure now/the tricky bit but i'll be out there soon =)

mackies are at rotto all year round, ovbiously we do see more activity during the warmer months when the waters hotter and no doubt there is more fish around, i saw some guys burlying with balloon baits out a few weeks ago

im gonna try trolling big minnow lures at west end
