Saturday beach session
Headed down to the bank this morning at around 8 with the incoming tide. First up was to get a bit of live bait and as I was walking down to the water I saw a baby turtle belly up . Thinking it was dead but it then moved so I picked it up took a quick pic and set it free. Managed a few live bait so out the lines went . Saw the baby turtle swim past so I have given it a chance . Live baits didn't last too long , after loosing a couple on good runs but no hookup I finally managed a nice trevally and shortly after on another line I hooked a shovel nose that gave me one hell of a workout even tho it wasn't that big. Hook out and off it went.
More livies needed , this time I nailed a few gars which resulted in a couple of good runs and a couple of reasonable sharks landed. Yet again more livies needed. Lost a couple to crabs and scored a queenie that was jumping up to 6 foot out of the water and as it got close to shore I could see why it didn't want to stay in the water , with a 5 foot shark on its tail it was going nuts . Think I would too. Packed up and off to fillet the spoils of the 3 hour session

That's a good beach session,
That's a good beach session, nice to see you keeping a few sharks for the table. You get a decent yield of fillets from them for their size aye.

The %of meat to waste is so much better than fish. Certainly nothing wrong with a feed of flake
