Scottys Lures- Cherabin lures
Submitted by NORUN NOFUN on Sun, 2023-01-29 11:27
Thought you guys might enjoy seeing my new lures.
Based on the freshwater prawns or cherabin as more commonly known.
Made from Jarrah and camphor laurel.
All the terminals, tow points, twisted wire, legs and antennae are heat treated stainless steel for that colour change.
Pretty much worn out my fingers with hand sanding.
I love the look, kinda scary and glad these things do not grow to 6ft lol.
Cheers

Cheers guys, made just for
Cheers guys, made just for the fun of it, creative side of lure making.
Unfortunately the wood and materials make the lures very heavy and too hard to work.
Funnily enough I put the same pics up on the lure making sites that are world wide on facebook and now I can't use my messenger as it's crashed lol
Hey Rob, I will make a friendlier version and these will target barra as they sit at that 100mm body length.
Cheers
