Dhuie

Sun, 2005-11-20 09:20

Hi guys this is my first Dhuie size was about 250mm I let it go and watch it swim to live another day. I was amazed on how they look, never seen any thing like it before. Will be back out there as much as I can, I only wish our boat was big enough to cruise the five fathom bank. fished around 8, 17, 40 mtrs, heaps of fish on the Sounder, I caught my Dhuie on half a blue mac.

Tailor

Tue, 2005-11-22 12:41

Drove past Claremont Yacht Club this morning to see two schools of fish crashing about 100 meters out and near the spit markers of point walter, headed towards point resolution.. They looked like they were pretty decent sized schools as well, let us know if you have any luck finding them..

Yeh just wondering

Only because I have been seeing lots of mullet schools on after work trips into the river looking for crabs. One school we saw at Pelican point was hug...

But you are right about Freshie coz trolled up a couple of choppers myself on the south side of K Bank.

Crabs have been mostly big females still full of eggs...the odd boy we have found are lighjt weights with no meat.

Come on Huey...jokes over mate...give us some nice weather and fat crays and crabs for Xmas
