Nothing happening in close, so headed a little further...the wind stopped and no drift. Caught 4 just size Dhuies so released them back then I banned the baits and down went the 7" McCarthys and wammo ! it was also great to see the Fisheries out wide checking. Then on Sunday went to gather some bait and a nice feed of calamari - 15 stonkers !

Great to hear that the fisheries guys are out and about. In 20 years of fishing off Perth - I've only once had my esky checked at the ramp, and never seen them out.
Hopefully some of this RFBL money means we might see them out a bit more.
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
